What is Tahoe PTA all about?
The Tahoe Elementary Parent Teacher Association has been active since 1942, consisting of parents and guardians, teachers and staff, as well as community members coming together to assist the school in providing an enriching environment for all Tahoe students. Our mission is to invest in every child; to seek what is best for the individual as well as the whole. We want our kids to shine!
The Tahoe PTA does way more than just bake sales. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, organizing fundraising events to support enrichment programs for our students, including art, gardening, music, field trips and more - experiences not otherwise available to our Title 1 school. We also give back to our community with free school and neighborhood events, such as movie nights and contribute to the annual Tahoe Park Spook-tacular and Sparktacular events. Tahoe PTA runs solely on volunteer power, so we welcome your support as a volunteer, partner, sponsor, or donor!
