Additional Fundraising Events & Programs
Here is a list of fundraising events we host through the school year. Be on the lookout for announcements on social media and from our principal, as well as paperwork in your student's backpack. The more help we can get to plan and execute these the better. Please contact us if you'd like to be involved in organizing, sponsoring, volunteering during an event or helping out in any way! We'd also love it if you can support just by attending or purchasing items from a sale! (please note: dates and details on event flyers are not necessarily current)
Pancake Breakfast had been an annual event at Tahoe for many years until put on hold due to the pandemic. Talks of reviving it for this school year has us excited. 2020 was our most successful breakfast yet, with us raising over $5,000. Raffle, silent auction, live music, local vendors, and of course delicious food with gluten-free and vegan options made this event a big success! |
Tahoe's Jog-a-Thon ran for 7 years in a row until 2020 got in our way (like it did for most things). It has always been our most profitable fundraiser to-date, bringing in upwards of $9,000. It requires a lot of volunteers to make this event happen, so please email us to help organize and get our biggest fundraiser back up and running (pun intended). And if you know of a business or person to be a sponsor, please send them our way! (please note: dates and details on this flyer are not current)

See's Candies are loved by most everyone, so it's only natural we host this fundraiser every year. Folks look so forward to receiving these nostalgic boxes, they practically sell themselves. Sales around the holiday season bring plenty of chocolate for yourself, loves ones, co-workers, your mail carrier, hair stylist...the list goes on! |
Fall Pie Sales are now a regular thing. Our first year we made over $1200 selling handmade pies from The Pie Company, located in Ripon, CA. You can be all set for the holidays again this year, with 8 flavors to choose from, easily ordered online or with an order form. |
Sales with Fair Trade Caravans is a wonderful way to support artisans and farmers around the world while raising money for our school. Hand-crafted one-of-a-kind products teach us to care for small businesses who create from the heart. We are planning to host a Makers Market near the holidays this year instead of this event, but look for it in the future! |
Our annual Scholastic Book Fair has been a staple at Tahoe. Students get so excited to look at and choose new books to spark their imagination and wonder. Every sale earns our school rewards money to purchase from Scholastic. This year we will partner with Wild Sisters Book Co. for our Winter Book Fair, so stay tuned for more info!

Our Spring Plant Sale has been held the past three years to help bring in money and interest in the Garden Docent Program. Students, teachers and volunteers will start the veggies, herbs and flowers being sold as part of their garden lessons and tend to them before being sold alongside the Tahoe Park Garden Tour.
(Volunteers much needed! If you are interested in being a garden docent please email Kylan at [email protected] to learn more!) |
The inaugural Multicultural Arts Festival was one of the biggest, most wide-reaching event Tahoe has ever seen. In partnership with Wide Open Walls, our Art Docent Program put on a spectacular display of art, culture and community. Our school is now adorned with 40+ murals to inspire and enliven our students, neighbors and city. While raising money for Tahoe's art program through sponsors and donations, as well as bringing the community together to celebrate Beauty in Diversity, we sparked a district-wide program to bring murals to every school in Sacramento! We hope to continue with our next Multicultural Festival at some point. |
